Making treatment more affordable

The BMI Card is a unique credit card that allows you to spread the cost of your cosmetic treatment or other healthcare needs, allowing you or your family and friends to benefit from treatment                                                                                                                           at your chosen BMI hospital at a time convenient to you.

Twelve months’ interest-free credit for health care purchases

Our repayment terms are simple, flexible and affordable. So don’t let the upfront cost put you off. Your minimum monthly payment, due the month after treatment is just 5% of the outstanding balance on your card statement, or £25, whichever is greater or the outstanding balance shown on the statement if less than £25). Pay in full, within twelve months, and you can finance your operation without paying a single penny in interest.

Attractive interest rate

Choose a credit limit that suits your circumstances – to £20,000 (subject to status). Fund the treatment you need with twelve months’ interest free credit on any amount that you owe. Vary your monthly repayment each month or commit to a regular fixed payment via direct debit or standing order for added peace of mind.

Balance still outstanding after one year? Spread the cost of your treatment for as long as you need to thanks to our flexible, financing. Just keep on making payments at your own pace until you clear your account in full. After 12 months interest reverts to 0.79% per month, typical 9.9% APR variable.

This facility is limited to applicants aged 18 years or over and living in England, Wales or Scotland, and is subject to normal credit checking procedures and our terms and conditions. BMI Healthcare reserves the right to refuse any application at its absolute discretion.

The interest rate and APR for any healthcare purchase will be 0% for the first twelve months starting with the date the purchase is debited to your account. Thereafter, interest will be charged on the remaining balance of the account – current rate 0.79% per month, typical 9.9% APR variable.

With your permission, we will contact your bank or building society, which must be inside the European Union, for a reference and to confirm your name and address.

Repeat Purchases

The BMI Card is available for use in any BMI facility for a period of two years from the date the account is created.

This means that you can make repeat purchases on your BMI Card (subject to available credit), all of which benefit from the initial 12 month interest free period, increasing to typical 9.9% APR variable.

Once your BMI Card expires it’s easy to renew. Carry on paying for yourself with our flexible financing further down the line.

No Annual Charge

The BMI Card has no annual charge or membership fee.

Your security

The Credit Agreement is regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974. A written quotation is obtainable on request.

How to apply

If you wish to apply for a BMI Card please print and read the terms & conditions and retain a copy for your records. You can apply by any of the methods below:

The BMI card is a credit facility offered by BMI Healthcare Limited.

Applications of up to £7,000 can be approved within 48 hours of receipt of the signed agreement. Amounts over this can take up to 2-3 weeks to process and please allow additional time for postage.
